Nestled deep between some of Ireland’s highest peaks and its calmest waters, our distillery is surrounded by Wicklow’s mythology & atmospheric history.
Central to our local mystique & rich storytelling is Wicklow’s own mischievous spirit known locally as the Púca.
This age old legend which found amusement by tricking unwary locals with acts of abandon, now finds its resting place on the front of our distillery crest and bottles.
Established by father and son distilling duo, Michael
and Gavin Clifford, Garden County Distillery is at the
forefront of Ireland’s revolution of independent and
craft spirit distilling.

Premium blend
Irish Whiskey
This premium blended whiskey comprises both malt and grain whiskies aged in virgin american oak, ex-bourbon barrels and ex Irish stout casks.
Our premium blended whiskey has rich overtones of acacia honey and vanilla. Our whiskey evokes notes of caramel sweetness, sponge cake and hints of dark chocolate with a warm spiced finish.
Bottled at 40% for its complexity and character, it stands out over ice or in a range of modern whiskey cocktails.
5YO Single Grain
Irish Whiskey
This unique release of 5 year old single grain has been brought to maturation in Ex Bourbon barrels & finally finished in Ex Sherry casks.
This single grain whiskey gives you smoothness beyond its 5 years. More delicate then an Irish pot still, it is packed with flavour. The sherry cask finish imparts notes of dried fruits & spice with a touch of citrus.
Bottled in small batches, the bottling strength will vary according to how the characteristics of each batch are portrayed. To be enjoyed over ice or in a classic cocktail, such as an Old Fashioned.
